Welcome to our church!
Church in the City is an urban church centred in Christ providing vibrant community, a safe place to grow spiritually, and opportunities to serve others with compassion and reach those who don't yet know Jesus.
We strive to make Christ known in the St. Lawrence, Canary and surrounding high-rise communities of Toronto, Ontario. Living in a big city can sometimes feel lonely, but it doesn’t have to. The most important thing to us is that when you join our community, you feel safe, welcomed, and connected.

Sunday Services
Esplanade Campus: 10 a.m
Canary Campus (Satellite): 6:30 p.m.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us for our Sunday service. We meet at the St. Lawrence Campus on Sunday morning. Our nursery is open for parents and our kids program is provided for ages 5-12.
We meet at the Canary Campus on Sunday evening (6:30pm).

We get it - walking into a church can be intimidating (even when the door is always open.) If you would prefer to meet one of our pastors before you come to CITC, just give us a call or send us an email. We would love to meet up and get to know you over a coffee or a cola.

Everyone
One of our core values is Diverse Community and we strive to live that out in everything we do. Whether you come on Sunday or join in for a community event, you are always welcome here.
Kids
We offer many kid’s programs, including Sunday service programs, summer camps, Easter and Christmas events, and more. We want every kid to grow in their faith and know that they are important.
Youth
Our youth programs are a safe and fun place for teenagers to build authentic community and grow in their faith. We meet weekly and organize out-trips and events that are inclusive for all. Thursdays at 7 pm!
Young Adults
At Church in the City we have a life group for young adults, offering a welcoming place for all people ages 18-30. We provide opportunities to meet others, host events, discuss, learn, and grow in all matters related to God. Anyone interested is more than welcome to drop in on Tuesdays at 7 pm. At CITC we want you to ‘COME AS YOU ARE!’ There is no entry quiz, there is no price of admission, and there are no other prerequisites required. We are a community of people who love God and love others.
When you get to the front door, you will be greeted by our welcome team, and the first thing you may notice is our coffee bar. We will have a barista ready to serve you fresh Nespresso coffee! After you grab your coffee, you can find any available seat and our welcome team is always available if you have any questions. Our service is modeled around worship songs, more coffee and connection time, and a message from Pastor Dan. So what you can expect on Sunday is coffee and a welcoming community that loves God and also loves others! (Matthew 22:36-40)

Everybody is welcome here - come exactly as you are. We welcome anyone to come join any of our Sunday services and to check out the different Life Groups and events we have during the week!
There is no dress code at any of our gatherings, just be yourself and come meet some new friends who will love you for exactly who you are.

Yes! Our nursery is available for parents to use with their babies and toddlers. The nursery room has interactive toys, video feed (powerpoint), and sound so you can follow along with the teaching while spending time with your child.
For kids (5-12), we offer a special program during the service. We have a great team of trained and thoroughly checked volunteers that teach your kids about Jesus in a fun, child-friendly way with a goal to help head knowledge become heart knowledge. Kids can join us in the service and will be dismissed to meet their program leaders part way through.

We have Life Groups that meet throughout the week. These groups are intimate and allow the opportunity to connect on a more personal level. We also host regular community events and have weekly programming for kids and youth.
