Sports Talk is the platform that “The Sports Reverends” use to share their personal examples and life lessons that they’ve learned. Their goal is to make Christ known to all.

In This Episode:

The Sports Reverends discuss the Toronto Blue Jays playoff push, Team Canada Basketball and their journey to gold, and the upcoming NFL Season.

TSR also talk about entering a new season (season 6 of THE SPORTS REVERENDS PODCAST), the NFL-NBA-NHL are entering new seasons, the MLB playoffs are like a new season…it gave a great reminder of the importance of starting fresh.

Many of you remember the Sunday School story of Noah, and how God had to hit the restart/refresh button on the world, because of humanity’s sinfulness.

There is comfort we can have in our world today, because the life of Jesus gave us the opportunity at a restart/refresh with Him. He paid the price of sin for humanity, a price no one can ever repay on their own. Jesus gave humanity a fresh opportunity at redemption.

A relationship with Jesus is the greatest commitment you can ever make, and whether you’ve ever had a relationship with Him or not…God wants to have one with you. As we enter this new season…we hope it can be a refreshing, or restarting, or maybe even a brand new season in your life…as we challenge you, through the platform of sports talk, to investigate the importance of a relationship with Jesus.
